The First anniversary of "LUGI KOTTAYAM CHAPTER" was celebrated at Lake Palace, Alappuzha, Kerala. Sri. Thomas Mathew, Managing Director, LIC OF INDIA inaugurated the function. Very eloquent, motivational and energizing was the inaugural address delivered by him. In his most exclusive address he referred to the market share of the corporation and the impact that the competition in the market has made on its performance. Even though many competitors and many of their products are there in the market, the products of theirs are just the same as that of LIC's put in a new wrap. None has yet come forth with any NEW as such. LIC as a vast organization having more than 50 years experience is shortly to move towards a PAPERLESS office, with all its hard records made soft, to enable the fastest and all the more efficient service to its POLICY HOLDERS. . The growth of LIC and its investment for the Growth the NATION as a whole was also focused.

Sri Sridharan, Senior Divisional Manager, LIC OF INDIA , Kottayam Division who was present during the session expressed the contribution that the Kottayam Division has made towards the growth of the Organisation.
