Life Underwriters Guild of India
is launching Fellow Chartered Financial Practitioner (FChFP)
certification programme for its members. Life Underwriters
Guild of India (LUGI) has been given accreditation by
Asia Pacific Financial Services Association (APFinSA)
for providing FChFPCertification in India
The FChFP programme is a class
room or online based part time education programme for
financial services professionals. The programme requires
a student to attend certain fixed number of hours of lectures
and tutorials before appearing for the examinations. The
lectures / tutorials are provided through Authorised Education
Providers at selected centres.
FChFP Background :
The Fellow Chartered Financial
Practitioner Programme is a certification programme targeted
at financial service professionals like Insurance Advisors,
Mutual Fund distributors, employees of Financial Services
Companies and students who would like to pursue a career
in FinancialServices. The designation is awarded by Asia
Pacific Financial Services Association (APFinSA) and the
programme is provided in India by Life Underwriters Guild
of India.
APFinSA :
The Asia Pacific Financial Services
Association was formed in 1991. It has members from Australia,
Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore,
Thailand, Japan,India, Macau and Taiwan and has its secretariat
at Singapore. APFinSA serves as a leading speaking platform
for industry issues in the region. The FChFP designation
was adopted by APFinSA as a common professional certification
