Programme Details

CIP Certificants are insurance and financial service professionals who have successfully completed all CIP module examinations and met the designation requirements set by LUGI.

Upon receiving the CIP designation, certificants are listed in the LUGI directory and are recognised across the Indian financial services industry as qualified insurance planning professionals.

The CIP syllabus is structured to build knowledge progressively across the core domains of insurance and financial planning:

Programme fees cover study materials, classroom instruction, examination registration, and certificate issuance upon successful completion. Please contact the LUGI Secretariat at cip@lugi.org for the current fee schedule.

Examinations are held periodically throughout the year at authorised LUGI chapter venues. The schedule is announced in advance and communicated to all registered candidates.

Re-attempt provisions are available for candidates who do not pass on their first attempt, subject to applicable fees.

The CIP is open to all LUGI members in good standing who are employed directly or indirectly in the Indian financial services industry.

A minimum educational qualification of Secondary School Certificate (SSC / 10th pass) or equivalent is required. Insurance advisors, financial intermediaries, bank employees, and mutual fund distributors are all eligible.
